Balance......

Ok, So earlier in the month everyone was choosing words, or should I say one word that would be their word for 2008 (If you arent familar with this see Ali Edwards Blog http://aliedwards.typepad.com/_a_/2008/01/one-little-word.html - sorry still can't do links) and so did I. Except things have been so crazy I never put it down here, quite ironic really given that my word for the year is balance! Its the one thing my life needs in every area!
The layout below is in the Designers Gallery of the current issue of Scrapbook Magazine and goes some of the way towards summing it up...

Creatively Challenged!

Oh yes, thats how I'm feeling right now. I got things to do, but I just can't seem to get my head in gear and do them. Moving house and having all my stash in boxes for so long totally hasn't helped. That said, we have made good progress with the new craft room / office (will post some pics soon) And so there is light at the end of the tunnel. But I do feel like I am flogging a dead donkey at the mo (me being the dead donkey). Yes, thats right people, I feel like a dead donkey! More sleep would help, maybe!
Anyhoo must dash! here is a lil sneak at something I did manage to squeeze out...

accidental post and makeshift wardrobes!

OK, so I am a bad, bad blogger. Things are just so crazy at the mo and I am too tired! But I needed to get this pic off my phone as it is needed for an article in issue 42 of Simply Cards and Papercraft on crafty storage solutions, and I used blogger to do it (with the Sony erickson new 5mp camera phone you can blog straight from your phone to blogger!) so I may aswell finish! This is my wardrobe, and probably will be for quite a while yet! Great isnt it ;-) I geuss its just not a priority and its seems we are learning lots of lessons in priorities since moving! That said, things aren't bad, we have been making progress There are just more urgent matters. (Yes, even more urgent than the hideous wallpaper you can see in the background of that shot - and it really is, the pic makes it look almost respectable but don't believe it. It really is a sight if you see it for real!)



and here is a sneaky peak at what I made for the article. Afraid that's all I can reveal but Iss 42 will be out soon so check it out (if you want to that is ;-)

So my fab box of goodies from Scrapbook Mate has arrived! (note to self, need to sort links out on here!). Do ya see how pretty it is? do ya? do ya? ;-D
